About Jamie
Battling an eating disorder in her early 20’s led Jamie on a journey to discover health and wellness. Instead of using exercise as punishment she was able to change her mindset to see fitness as a gift. Jamie’s concept is simple: When we connect our heart to movement we will thrive. Her goal is to be a healthy example and source of encouragement to her family, friends, clients and, most importantly, her two daughters.
Jamie graduated from the American Musical & Dramatic Academy in NYC where she studied musical theatre, dance, and vocal performance. After over ten years performing in various musicals across the United States and Europe, Jamie transitioned to a career in the Health & Fitness Industry. During her 18 years in the fitness industry, Jamie has obtained her Athletics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) Group Fitness and American Council on Exercise (ACE) Personal Trainer Certifications as well as various other specialty certifications.
Change brought on by the recent COVID-19 pandemic provided Jamie the opportunity to transition from teaching in a traditional gym to providing live virtual workouts in an effort to connect with others from the comfort of home. This time has been scary and unpredictable, but it has also allowed her to grow and find the silver lining in a difficult situation.
Jamie is a proud southern girl who relocated to San Diego to be with the love of her life. She is a coffee enthusiast, prefers salty chips & guac over anything sweet, and loves reading suspenseful novels! Her biggest accomplishment is raising two beautiful daughters alongside her best friend and husband, Chris. She has a tremendous passion for fitness and inspiring others to achieve their health and fitness goals!
